Elke Sylvia Krystufek
A ubiquitous talent across a vast artistic landscape: Elke Sylvia Krystufek works in the fields of painting and photography, stages installations, writes plays, creates collages, and deconstructs established perspectives. Born in Vienna in 1970, the artist has already represented Austria with her Gesamtkunstwerke at biennials in Venice and São Paulo. The list of her exhibitions seems endless, withthe themes of her work ranging from criminality to the body to artistic feminism. She is also developing a comprehensive archive of her stories so that they won’t be forgotten.

For Maison Köchert, she has already created two precious works of art: the slightly ironic ring, Luxus, and the Fireworks ring, which captures and preserves the immediate brilliance of a fireworks display. This ring was created for the celebration of A.E. Köchert’s 200th anniversary in 2014 as a limited edition of 12 pieces – an unforgettable event that certainly deserved fireworks.
An explosion of the joy of life is expressed in an array of colourful stones – diamond, ruby, citrine, amethyst, emerald, and sapphire – set in 18-carat white gold. They’re all reminders that every day is truly a celebration – a day to be cherished!
