Xenia Hausner – Left, Right

Xenia Hausner is one of the most important Austrian artists alive today, and currently has a major exhibition dedicated to her work at the Albertina in Vienna. Hailing from an artistic family herself, Hausner began her international career back in the early seventies. Along with her enigmatic large-format pictures, Xenia Hausner often likes to use a variety of different media in her work; in 2020, for example, she designed the stage set for the performance of Rosenkavalier at the Berlin State Opera. Projects related to architecture also arouse her interest. For our company, she designed earrings entitled “left, right” – an allusion to the title of a major exhibition of her work in Beijing.
