Boris Podrecca - Basilea brooch
Born in Belgrade and based in Vienna, sculptor and architect Boris Podrecca studied in the master class of Roland Rainer, and now has offices in Vienna, Stuttgart and Venice.
His structures, which are contextual at all times, can be found in locations including Venice, Trieste and Bolzano, on the Dalmatian coast of Croatia and in Naples, in Belgrade and Slovenia, in Vienna, Styria, Munich and Limoges, as well as in Spain, Greece and the USA.
Podrecca’s sensitivity when choosing materials and colours is also reflected in his jewellery designs for the House of Köchert, which also invite the wearer of his brooches to participate in the design through small moving parts.
